Tree Canada is one of the largest tree-planting charities in Canada, founded in 1992. They collaborate with all levels of government, businesses, and community groups to combat climate change, having planted millions of trees since their inception.

2. Sustainable Waterloo Region
Sustainable Waterloo Region is dedicated to making the business community in Waterloo Region more environmentally and economically resilient. Their current program focuses on creating microforests in schools and neighborhoods.

3. Reep Green Solutions
Founded in 1999 by the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Environment and the Elora Environment Centre, Reep Green Solutions works to make homes in the Waterloo region more sustainable.
They are currently involved in two projects with the City of Kitchener:
- Backyard Tree Planting Project: Reep Green Solutions plants trees in your backyard at a reduced price.
- Chandler Mowat Neighborhood Canopy Project: Aiming to increase the tree canopy in this area.
